Job DetailsPrimary Responsibilities / Duties:
- Develop PLC and HMI programs using AllenBradley, Triconex and other software
solutions for Burner Management Systems (BMS)
- Prepare and Update P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) to develop
scope of work and create technical bid summaries on projects.
- Specify and procure instrumentation including control valves, pressure
regulators, transmitters and analyzers per project requirements
- Specify and procure Electrical Control Equipment including PLC, HMI and
related Panel Components per project requirements
- Prepare Instrumentation Design Deliverables including Cause & Effect
Matrices, Control Narratives, ISA Datasheets, I/O Lists and Instrument Indices.
- Design and develop electrical wiring schematics, BOM (Bill of Materials) and
Panel Layout drawings per appropriate code requirements (NEC and NFPA).
- Perform Control System Engineering studies including conceptual design of new
systems and control system retrofits.
- Appropriately size components like Relays, Circuit Breakers, Power Supplies,
Fuses, and cables per project specifications.
